Though, I'm always laughing at the fact that it grosses #1 on simulation.
I haven't spent a penny on the game, and I've gotten amazing stuff! The controls are great for a FE game, and gameplay is just as addictive. Yes, permadeath is removed, but who would want their 5-Star Hector to die forever?
The new update has made it much better! Not only this, but it is Nintendo's #1 rated game at 4.6, which is 0.1 more than Animal Crossing. For new Fire Emblem fans and veterans, this game is one of the best mobile games I've played in a LONG while. Keep up the good word, Intelligent Systems!

Gameplay is fun and addicting. Character and map design is cool and simple.
It's also very easy to get 5 and 4 star characters, compared to other games (Contest of Champions, for example). All in all a fantastic game.
HOWEVER, please allow users to save their game data using their google play/apple accounts. I'm sure many players, myself included, do not own a nintendo console, making it pretty useless to create a nintendo account simply for this game. That's my only problem. Other than that, this game is awesome.
Edit: The Book 2 update is amazing! I've never played a fire emblem game before, so this was a start for me. Although the characters are hard to obtain thanks to the lack of orbs in the game, its still a fun ride. It just needs improvements on the orb system and summoning certain characters.
I do enjoy playing against others through the arena, but sometimes that feels too much much considering the amount of players who do use real money for in-game currency. Overall, its fun.
I recommend it to fans of the FE series or to newcomers who heard about these characters from the Super Smash Bros series. The game is good. Good gameplay, responsive controls, and great-looking art.
I appreciate the constant updates, and that they add large amounts of content. The loading screens are also surprisingly short, and the amount of time you can go without paying (about 1050 orbs) is pretty astonishing. It's also a very beginner-friendly game. A few drawbacks, such as Arena dominance, a bad story, and a powercreep hold it back, but what can you do? Still an amazing game, and it looks like it'll only get better.

Game isn't half bad, has a decent story line, awesome artwork and even voices for the characters. If only the orbs were a bit easier to get it'd be great lol. Look forward to one day gathering all the characters I know from the games I've played XD Also kinda missed the Dodge and critical aspects of the other games.gave it a bit of a randomized sense to the game that this one could use. Thanks for making Matthew the theif from the gba game titled fire emblem one of the first 4 characters I loved that XD.
